I'm so behind in posting here! Here are some images I've captured, I may try to add in some text later . . . but I probably won't!

Painting on foil, large collages, and glazed clay ornaments

Curler and pom pom aliens, a purse, newly "marred" couple, and paper sculpture.

My daughter was in my classroom today, and snapped this photo of me!

Paper sculpture. Here, a student used paper she'd printed using a monoprinting technique to create this creature.

This didn't happen in my classroom. My daughter created this. I try to have a Choice atmosphere at home . . .

I eavesdropped with my notebook last week. Here are some of the snippets I heard from two girls creating a dog. "Let's make a doggy. Hurry, get the tape!. We need another black."

"Oh well. It will be black and green instead."

"Yeah! Like my dog. He ran away. Only, he wasn't green.
[giggles] He was two colors though."

"Alright. I'm thinking about stapling it."

"Here's the leash!"

"How long shoud it be? Should I cut it here? Or here?"

"Ooh. Beads. Let's use some of these"

"What ones do you think?"

"These could be for the eyes. These two are the same."

"Here. You do the eyes, I'll do the nose."
